m4webdesign can offer web hosting on our own servers.

We are not a typical hosting company with a range of hosting plans, we offer a bespoke service designed around your needs.

The reason for this is quite simple. Web hosting has become far too cheap! You can now easily find hosting providers who will offer a full featured service for say £6 a month.

Let's consider for a moment what this means? If we say that a mere £1 of that money is used to provide the hardware and bandwith for the service, then that leaves the grand sum of £60 a year to provide support. £60 does not even pay for two hours time for a real web engineer's efforts on your behalf.

This means in practice, hosting companies are either overworked, going broke, providing poor support or economising on the hardware so you will have a slow web site.

We do not want any of those labels applied to m4webdesign.

As such at m4webdesign our hosting starts at £6 a month for a plain "html" site (e.g. one that will not support forums etc) and will be a minimum of £10 a month for a "php" enabled site with mysql databases etc.
